On 14 April and 12 May BlockStart will organize a Q&A Webinar to give potential blockchain startups and end-user SMEs applicants a taste of what is our programme, how can they benefit from it and tips on how to apply to our final Open Call

BlockStart will organize two free Q&A Webinars to inform potential applicants about our 3rd Acceleration Programme for blockchain/DLT startups and end-user SMEs. The first Webinar will take place on 14 April and the second will be held on 12 May, both between 11am and 12h30pm CET (Brussels Time).

These Q&A Webinars will be the perfect occasion to answer any question blockchain/DLT startups and end-user SMEs from the fintech, retail and ICT sectors may have about BlockStart’s 3rd and final Open Call, namely on the application process, evaluation criteria and programme details.

The Webinars will start with the presentation of the programme by one of BlockStart’s partners, Nadine Teles, EU Projects Manager at F6S. The Project’s Coordinator, João Fernandes, Project Manager & Investment Analyst at Bright Pixel, will  also provide some insights on how applicants can make their application stand out and avoid common mistakes that can disqualify them.

Also, participants will have the chance to hear from two blockchain/DLT startup developers that have gone through BlockStart’s 1st Acceleration Programme – Rexs.io and Datarella, to find out their tips for applying, what is it like to be part of the teams selected for our programme and how their companies have grown since joining BlockStart. Representatives from SME adopters (i.e., end-user SMEs) will also be joining our Q&A Webinars, to explain to participants what are the adopters expectations and how technology providers can make their solution meet the needs of the market.

During the Q&A Webinars, you will learn:

  • The difference between the 2 application tracks – startup developers and SME adopters, and which one is the most suited for your company
  • What happens during the 3-stage immersive programme (Ideation Kick-off > Prototype > Pilot) and how we can help your company grow – funding opportunities, mentoring & the possibility of making commercial pilots, networking & showcasing of your project achievements
  • About the Open Call #3 guidelines & procedures – how to submit an outstanding application and get the attention of our external evaluators, along with important tips and lessons learned from previous Open Calls

At the end of the webinar, we will have plenty of time for a live Q&A, so prepare your questions! Save your spot on one or both our Webinars!
