In one paragraph, what is Pescaderia Juan Antonio?

My business is a small fish market located in a food market where I sell fresh fish every morning from Tuesday to Saturday.

I like the people in the neighbourhood to be satisfied with my product.

Can you tell us why you have decided to apply to BlockStart’s 3rd Call for end-user SMEs?

Participating in Blockstart has motivated me to learn about new technologies that can make my business more efficient.

What major challenges have you faced during the implementation/testing of BlockStart’s blockchain-based solution?

Adapting to an unfamiliar technology has been a great challenge for me because I have very little technological knowledge.

What kind of impact do you think the blockchain-based solution you have implemented in the scope of BlockStart may bring to your company?

Thanks to the use of a digital currency of Comunitaria, the number of recurring customers has increased because people from the neighborhood buy in my fish shop using this currency. In addition, thanks to the participation in the “Rooftops that Feed” project, I will be able to reduce energy costs and increase my monthly income.

Where do you see your company in 5 years?

I would like to be a reference fish shop and that everyone wants to come and buy my fish.
