VERTLINER is a field-robotics startup developing autonomous robotic systems for the precise indoor assessment of building assets.
As part of their journey on BlockStart’s 3rd Acceleration Programme, as an SME adopter, they were looking for new opportunities for collaboration with technology providers of DLT/blockchain solutions that could improve their business. This is the testimonial of their experience in our programme.
In one paragraph, what is Vertliner?
VERTLINER is a field robotics company that is using the power of robotics and AI to generate actionable data and ready-to-use datasets from indoor environments.
What is Vertliner passionate about achieving?
VERTLINER is passionate about achieving the basis where assessment activities in indoor environments will be conducted by autonomous robots, and the generated datasets will be utilised accordingly to ensure transparency, safety, security and operational efficiencies.
Can you tell us why you have decided to apply to BlockStart’s 3rd Call for end-user SMEs?
VERTLINER joined the BlockStart call as end-user SME in order to run a pilot with Digital Village, that integrate preliminary phases of digitalising building assets and connecting them to a virtual supply chain process, starting from the project site, and connecting it with the installation and operation of MEP systems. Currently this process is fragmented, but we believe that with the deployment of this pilot, all the entities will have access to a visible process including technical characteristics and financial attributes that are required on an end-to-end process.
What kind of impact do you think the blockchain-based solution you have implemented in the scope of BlockStart may bring to your company?
In the mid-term, VERTLINER would be able to link its processes with a decentralised registry of assets, that will allow the formation of a data ecosystem for the key stakeholders of MEP systems, ensuring a transparent, accountable and secure environment.
Where do you see your company in 5 years?
VERTLINER is envisioned to be the leader of autonomous robotic indoor systems, informing operational systems with data in a transparent, safer, secure and efficient way.
