Inside BlockStart programme – a look back from Maravar

Maravar is a guest house with a beer wellness.

As part of their journey on BlockStart’s 3rd Acceleration Programme, as an SME adopter, they were looking for new opportunities for collaboration with technology providers of DLT/blockchain solutions that could improve their business. This is the testimonial of their experience in our programme.

In one paragraph, what is Maravar?

Maravar is a guest house with an exclusive beer wellness. Our goal is to bring a unique relaxation experience. The “maravar” combines the home hospitality of a small family business with an exclusive beer experience. We brew beer in the traditional way in our small brewery. We prepare food from local ingredients. We are preparing a unique beer bath to relax body and soul.

What is Maravar passionate about achieving?

We are excited about the implementation of new technologies.

Can you tell us why you have decided to apply to BlockStart’s 3rd Call for end-user SMEs?

We work closely with AgeVolt to develop a user interface for a network of charging points in similar facilities as we are.

What major challenges have you faced during the implementation/testing of BlockStart’s blockchain-based solution?

Technology is implemented in the system by the “programming language”, we try to work together for simplification.

What kind of impact do you think the blockchain-based solution you have implemented in the scope of BlockStart may bring to your company?

In the later phase of electromobility development, we expect an increase in interest in the charging service. In a few years, the loyalty system will be a common part of this technology. We are here first and we will pave the way for the rest of the accommodation facilities.

Where do you see your company in 5 years?

In 5 years we will continue to be actively involved in technology projects and will build our brand on strong foundations as a market leader at least in our country. We have a detailed concept of beer attractions, which we will soon replicate in other facilities.
