NFTs mark a turning point for digital transformation, as applications and integrations are spilling to various sectors: from music and events to energy and supply chains. To discover the transformative potential and opportunities NFTs present for DLT developers and adopters, BlockStart invited founders of NFT startups and experts for a discussion. We will aim to identify a few possible answers to the question: what are the possibilities of NFTs application?
Richard Crook, the founder and CEO of DASL will start the Webinar by presenting the general concept of NFTs, their working principles and potential. To dig deeper into the concept, well-known and unexpected areas of NFTs application will be presented. Denisa Gibovic and Xavier Tarrés from Blue Room Innovation will present the application case they developed at SCENTS, creating blockchain-based art expositions to cover the lifetime exhibits of digital art pieces (they are also one of BlockStart’s top 10 blockchain startups now going through our 3rd Acceleration Programme). Evelyn Mora, founder of Digital Village IO, a social metaverse with its community-led Blockchain interface, will share her insights on how the NFTs are changing social media, gaming and e-commerce. Julien Bringer, co-founder and CTO of HODLNG will present a case of NFTs use in the biogas industry. Both have also been part of BlockStart’s top 10 blockchain startups of our Open Call #3.
NFTs are a game-changing tool in sectors further from arts, games and entertainment. Ignas Tauras, a researcher at a leading Korean exchange – Hanbitco, will elaborate on the NFTs integration in DeFi.
